The Safety Fire have been super busy within a year’s time! Releasing Mouth of Swords late last year to critical acclaim, being on Eggheads, touring with Between the Buried and Me, touring again with Protest the Hero, producing a music video for “Glass Crush,” and then replacing The Faceless on Protest the Hero’s upcoming European tour, the UK locals even found time to rework one of the more laid-back tracks from their latest album.

The band had this to say about their work:

Though it’s not the greatest deviation from the original, the band have still managed to inspire a different feeling from the original, electric-driven version. It actually falls perfectly in line with my take on what acoustic versions should be versus what artists usually end up doing with them (which often amounts to “nothing”).

‘Wise Hands’ will be available on all digital platforms including iTunes and Spotify on December 16th, 2014.
