Where there is good news, there is sometimes bad news. Luckily, the good news coming from Stolas is really, really good. They have a brand new song called ‘Claw Point’ and it is the best of the three singles released, which is really saying something considering the other two were pretty great. The bad news is that the band has pushed back the release of their Sophomore album Allomaternal to November 7th. I’m sure it will be worth the wait. If you don’t believe me, check out the new track after the jump!
If this track doesn’t get you excited for the new album, I’m not sure if any track can. Stolas employ their impecable sense of dynamics on this track, going from fast and hard to subdued and slow in all of the right places. The fact that the album was pushed back does make me sad, but I have three great singles to listen to while I wait.
