Ladies and gentlemen, this is one you don’t want to sleep on. The insanely talented Inter Arma are streaming their album in full, prior to its Octobr 14th release. We’ll have our own, full review later, written by yours truly, but for now you can get your own taste of this fundamentally amazing release for yourself. The lucky guys and gals over at Pitchfork have the exclusive stream. The Cavern is a demanding and rewarding listen, spanning 45 minutes of violins, doom and amazing vocals. Not to give too much of my review away, but I honestly believe there’s a very good chance that this will be my album of the year. Especially heartbreaking are Dorthia Cottrell’s vocals, of Windhand. Their introduction marks a high spot of the album for me, so keep your ears pilled for those around the 27 minute mark.
