Our favorite purveyors of discordant madness Pyrrhon are back in the spotlight; this time in the form of a Gear Gods feature by guitarist Dylan DiLella on how to play the main riff of ‘Balkanized’ from their much-ballyhooed The Mother of Virtues. DiLella commands the neck with a fretting hand not unlike a naked and focused hermit crab high on adderall, pacing a plank of wood in search of its missing shell. All of this is complimented by a picking hand as accurate and commanding as Michael Keene, juxtaposed with riffs sure to make Luc Lemay blush. Basically, you should check this shit out.
