Good news? Good news! Black Crown Initiate are streaming yet another excellent track from their upcoming debut album, The Wreckage of Stars. ‘Withering Waves’ continues on in true Black Crown Initiate fashion in being ridiculously technical, well structured, and absolutely killer all the way. The relentless brutality. The fantastic use of clean vocals in climactic passages. As with ‘Great Mistake’, the other track from the upcoming record that they released last month, Black Crown Initiate know what they’re doing, and by god, do they do it well. Our review of The Wreckage of Stars should already be enough indication that this is easily going to be one of the best albums of the year, and it’s hard to imagine how one could remain unconvinced of that after giving this track a listen.
