Lately, it seems that more and more bands have been getting robbed while out on tour. While this has always happened in the past, it seems to be increasing in frequency, particularly over the last year. However, one city in particular has had more robberies in it than all the others: St. Louis, Missouri.

I’ve never been, so I don’t understand why the residents there prey upon touring musicians, stealing their gear, personal items, etc. What I do know, however, is that the list of bands robbed there recently is staggering. Here is a list of SOME of these bands:

Rivers Of Nihil
Jeff Loomis
EYEHATEGOD
Murder By Death
Seaway
Blessthefall
The Locust
Black Moth Super Rainbow

There’s plenty of others that we can’t think of right now, but this is a big deal. If you’re in a band, or know someone in a band, that goes to tour there, please tell them to keep at least one member by their van at all times to be sure nothing happens. In the meantime, check out EYEHATEGOD’s related Facebook post and see if you can help them out.
