As if this post really needed any more words. I could just leave that title and picture up there and most of us would still be ridiculously hype. Regardless, thanks to the keen eyed Greg over at Metal Injection, we’ve now learned through a Facebook update that Gojira are apparently hard at work, writing new material for the follow up to 2012’s L’Elephant Sausage.
This gives them plenty of time to work prior to their recently announced May and April US tour alongside the mighty Mastodon (who appear to be mirroring their 2014 tactics of new material) and the punky upstarts in Kvelertak, so maybe we won’t be experiencing another four year lull between albums.
