Meshuggah‘s The Ophidian Trek 2013 is one of 2013′s most anticipated tours, and will likely be looked back upon as being a highlight of the year for many fans. Featuring support from Animals as Leaders and Intronaut, this is a progressive metal dream tour, and was made all the more unique with Meshuggah vocalist Jens Kidman stricken with the flu, leaving the band as an instrumental group for a handful of dates. One of these shows was February 14th in Philadelphia, PA where instead of the intimidating stage presence of Jens, fans were put into the Valentine’s Day spirit with a blow-up doll featuring a cardboard cutout of his face.
