In Flames Jumps Ship To Century Media Records; Album Release Dates Announced

In Flames news is trickling in ever so slowly. The band posted the following note on Facebook:

Finally we can let you guys know when our new album ”Sounds Of a Playground Fading” is coming out:

June 15th – Sweden

June 17th – Germany

June 20th – Rest Of Europe

June 21st – North America

The first single will be out early May. We’ll let you know a date when we have it. The Record companies are working on all that stuff right now.

Keep your eyes open for more news about webisodes, artwork, tracklists etc.

North America—once again the last one picked for the game.

Word was also dropped today that In Flames has signed with Century Media Records. I had since assumed they signed with E1 Records, but apparently that isn’t the case—Koch Records (now known as E1) released A Sense Of Purpose in North America back in 2008, so I guess it was just a one album deal. Awesome; Century just sort of feels like an appropriate label for In Flames.

Right on. So, new In Flames album Sounds of a Playground Fading hits no later than June 21st. If you still care about these guys, keep an eye out.
