Anyone that’s deep in the metal scene knows of Devin Townsend and his crazy shenanigans. Anyone who makes a rock-opera about an all knowing alien captain battling with Earth over a cup of coffee that didn’t live up to his standards has to have a certain level of eccentricism and a brilliant sense of humor. And this is evident in the Devin Townsend Project‘s tour updates from the road with Between the Buried and Me, Cynic, and Scale The Summit.

This video had me laughing till I cried with brilliant musings such as:

“And we are pooping in rest stops beside 400 pound truckers that smell like a combination of hot puke and hot… balls.”

“Saw a bunch of pictures of myself yesterday and my teeth looked like I could eat a peice of corn through a picket fence. “

“I haven’t masturbated in a week. Wait… that’s a lie.”

“Paul from Between the Buried and Me just hit me in the head with a snowball. But that’s okay cause I wiped my dick tip on their bus door handle.”

Oh dear sweet jesus I need to stop listening to this because the fellow patrons at the campus library are starting to get annoyed at my failed attempt to stifle my laughter. I can’t wait for another video of Devin’s ramblings. He should do stand up, man.
